Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026

GigNest ("GigNest," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Evan Eubanks, doing business as GigNest.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit gignest.io or use the GigNest platform (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

  • Account information — name, email address, business name, and profile details you provide when you create an account or join our waitlist.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). We retain records of your plan, billing history, and transaction status.
  • Content you create — proposals, contracts, client records, event details, stage designs, expense records, and other content you add to your account.
  • Communications — messages you send to us, including support requests to support@gignest.io.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, IP address, and general location, collected to operate and improve the Service.
  • Cookies and tracking technologies — we use cookies and similar technologies, including analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel), to understand how the Service is used, measure the performance of our marketing, and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized advertising through your ad platform settings (e.g., Meta ad preferences).

2. Business Lead Data

GigNest helps users discover potential business clients. To do this, we source publicly available business information — such as business names, public contact details, addresses, and websites — from third-party data providers (including Apollo) and public sources (including Google).

  • This data relates to businesses and professional contacts, not consumer profiles.
  • We do not sell this data as a standalone product; it is provided within the Service to help users identify and contact potential clients.
  • If you are a business or individual whose information appears in our platform and you would like it corrected or removed, email support@gignest.io with the details, and we will process your request promptly.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support;
  • Send marketing communications you can opt out of at any time;
  • Measure and improve our advertising and marketing;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service — including Stripe (payments), our hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery providers, analytics providers, and data providers — each bound to use it only to provide services to us;
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of GigNest, our users, or others;
  • Business transfers — if GigNest is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access, correction, deletion — email support@gignest.io to request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account and associated data.
  • Marketing opt-out — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Cookies — manage via browser settings; note that disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We honor valid requests consistent with those laws.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice (such as email).
